Al Nahda Battery (Al Nahda Battery home)

Privacy Policy

Effective 5 October 2026

This notice sets out the personal information we gather when you visit this website or contact us by phone or message, the reasons we gather it, the parties who receive it and the choices open to you. It covers this website and the mobile vehicle services we provide in the United Arab Emirates.

  1. Information you hand to us

    • How to reach you: your name, your phone number, and the profile name shown by your messaging app when you write to us.
    • Where the car is: the district, street, tower, parking level or bay you describe, or a location pin you choose to send, so that a technician can find the vehicle. We do not follow your position after the job.
    • The vehicle: its make, model and year, and whatever you tell us about the problem.
    • Job and payment history: what was fitted and when, the price, the invoice and any warranty claim. Card numbers go straight to the payment provider and are never held by us.
    • Anything further you decide to include in a message, such as a photo of the car or the battery label.
  2. Information gathered as you browse

As with nearly all websites, some technical details are recorded when you visit: your IP address and the rough location it implies, the type of device and browser, your language setting, the page that referred you, the pages you open and how you move through them.

When you tap a call or WhatsApp button, we also log that the tap happened, together with the page it came from, the kind of device and the browser's user-agent string. This tells us which pages lead to enquiries.

These details are collected through cookies and comparable technologies set by us and by the analytics and advertising providers listed in this notice.

  3. What the information is used for

    • Answering your enquiry, giving you a price and sending a technician to the correct spot.
    • Doing the job, invoicing it and honouring the warranty later.
    • Keeping the records that tax, accounting and consumer law require.
    • Seeing how the website performs and making it better.
    • Measuring our advertising, learning which campaigns bring enquiries, and showing relevant adverts to people who have visited before.
    • Guarding against fraud, misuse and hoax bookings, and keeping staff and customers safe.
  4. Cookies and similar tools

A cookie is a small file your browser stores. This site uses three kinds:

    • Essential: required for pages to load and behave properly. The site offers no switch for these.
    • Measurement: Google Analytics, which reports visitor numbers, the pages read and the point at which people leave. We see the results in aggregate and use them to improve the site.
    • Advertising: Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags. They note when a visit ends in a call or a WhatsApp message, and allow adverts to be shown to past visitors on Google and its partner sites.
  5. Our analytics and advertising providers

Google provides both Google Analytics and Google Ads. For part of this data Google acts as a controller in its own right, and it may join it with what it already knows from your use of other sites and services. How Google treats that data is explained in its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can review and change the way Google tailors adverts to you at adssettings.google.com. To leave Google Analytics altogether, install the browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

The coverage map on this site is an embedded Google Maps frame, which loads from Google when it scrolls into view.

We never sell personal information, and your name, phone number and address are not passed to advertising networks.

  6. Others who receive information

    • Technicians and dispatchers, who get the name, number, location and vehicle details a job requires.
    • Phone and messaging companies. A WhatsApp message or a phone call is handled by that platform under its own privacy terms.
    • Card processors and instalment providers, who handle your payment data directly on their own terms when you pay by card or in instalments.
    • Suppliers and battery manufacturers, who are given the minimum needed to process a warranty claim.
    • Professional advisers, insurers and public or regulatory bodies, where the law obliges us.
  7. Where information is stored

Our records sit in the United Arab Emirates and with service providers whose systems may be based abroad, the European Union and the United States included. When data is sent outside the UAE we use providers that give contractual safeguards in line with UAE data-protection law.

  8. How long it is kept

An enquiry that never becomes a booking is deleted within 12 months. Job and invoice records are held for the period UAE tax and commercial law demands, five years at present, and at least until any warranty has run out. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form for no more than 26 months.

  9. Keeping it safe

The site is delivered over an encrypted connection, and customer records can be opened only by staff whose work requires it. No system is proof against every threat, so absolute security cannot be promised. We do apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards and have measures to spot and respond to incidents.

  10. Your choices and rights

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold on you, to correct anything inaccurate, to erase what we have no duty to keep, and to stop using your details for marketing. Cookie consent can be withdrawn whenever you like by clearing cookies and changing your browser settings.

Send requests by phone or through the WhatsApp link shown on every page. We may need to verify who you are first, and we reply within 30 days.

  11. Under-18s

Our services are meant for people who own or drive vehicles, and we do not knowingly gather information from anyone younger than 18. If you think a child has sent us personal details, tell us and they will be removed.

  12. Revisions to this notice

This notice is revised whenever our practices, or the tools we depend on, change. The date beneath the heading identifies the current version, and significant changes are published here before they apply.

  13. Contacting us about privacy

For anything concerning this notice or the information we hold, call us or use the WhatsApp link shown on every page of this site.
